Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream sugar and butter. Beat the egg slightly, and mix into the creamed mixture with the bananas. Mix in sifted ingredients until just combined.
For the Chocolate Filling
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in a medium sized microwave safe bowl about 1 minute. Stir until smooth. Then add 1 cup of the banana bread batter and mix with the chocolate until well combined.
Spoon chocolate batter alternately with plain batter into a 8 x 4-inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray. Swirl batters together using a knife.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour and five minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean with no batter

*you can use two cups all purpose flour if you do not have white wheat flour
